Energy Competition

Postby Adrian Jones » Mon Nov 28, 2011 1:09 pm

I'm part of a local group with the goal to get our town powered by 30% renewable energy by 2015, and we're currently in the finals of a national competition to win 100K for local projects.

One use of this is to help the local school with some solar panels. Click below to see some of us developing our acting skills to help promote this idea:

But ultimately, I'm posting to get your votes. We have until Friday, and you can vote for us here:

(Apolgies that the voting routine is a bit convoluted --or at least was when I first voted!)

Thanks! Adrian

Ya'll should apply for a loan from the US.. You don't actually have to pay the loans back for solar panels here.. :D

Hi Fred,

Interesting! But this isn't a loan... And of course, we're not in the US.

I presume you have solar powered sandals ....
