Loan Calculator

Postby shakerfish » Mon Jan 24, 2011 2:24 pm

Hi all,

I am using DataEase 7.x and I was wondering if it is possible to make an auto loan calculator. The following are the fields that are used in a common auto loan calculator and I was hoping someone could help me with the derivation formula(s).

Loan Amount
Interest Rate
Term (Months/Years)
Sales Tax
Monthly Payment

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Check the DataEase help file. There are financial functions (Installment, FutureValue, PresentValue, Periods, Rate) that you can use.
