Export DataEase Invoice to Quickbooks?

Postby reyman01 » Fri Apr 22, 2011 12:32 am

Hi,

I am working for a client who needs to have the information from her DataEase invoices exported into Quickbooks as invoices there. Is there a way to do this?

If this requires complicated programming that you know how to do, please let us know what it would cost to accomplish this.

Thanks,

Rey

Hi, Rey,

[Edit] Oops..just noticed this is for DataEase and not Ffenics. No matter. It is equally simple in native DataEase, Rey, your web site doesn't give your location or phone#?

That is not difficult as QB publishes their required data format on the web. But, if you would like to pay someone to do this for you then that is fine, too. Where are you located? Do you have remote access to the database established using GotoMyPc, Logmein or Remote Desktop? One of the first two are preferred as they provide the ability to share the screen with 2 people-one on either end. Email me at pwink@dca.net for more info.

Here is an example. Here, data has already been loaded into another form, _QuickBooks_Hold, via DQL.

for _QuickBooks_Hold
;
list records
Summary ;
vGrossPay ;
vFedTax ;
vStateTax ;
vAccruedFica ;
vFicaExpense ;
vNegFICA ;
vInsurance ;
vBonus ;
vEIC ;
vChildSupp ;
vLoans ;
vAdvances ;
vAdjustments ;
vSafetyEquip ;
vLevies ;
vLiens ;
CONCAT("ENDTRNS","") .
end
export to "C:\QB\Payroll.txt"
.form header
