Hi all, does anyone know if it is possible to get DataEase DOS 5 to print to a Dell C1760?

Never tried this but... Print to file then:
copy printfile.prn \\computername\printersharename

The printer would have to be connected to the computer and shared.

Thanks -- was hoping there was a way without having to change anything other than printer set-up stuff, but I guess that there isn't a way to get DOS to talk directly to a windows printer.

This is an existing app, not a new one. The only thing that has changed are the printers.

Based on a quick look at the spec's, I'm assuming that the printer is networked and has a local driver. It's the latter that's going to be the issue.

It's still possible that the old net use trick would work:

net use lpt1 \\computername\printername /persistent:yes
