Hmmmm. Adrian, I wonder if you could bring a case for copyright infringement....? Or offences against the English Language? :D

Probably, Gil! Not copyright, though! Hey, I even have the (unused) domain name notrocketsurgery.co.uk.

Here's the back of the CD from the May Excel Business show (again, all my own work):

The "It's not rocket surgery!" is on a popular t-shirt over here. Google it and see. I love the statement as it is certainly catchy. :)

I've often wondered if someone at NASA has ever said to a colleague "What's taking you so long - it's not rocket science..."

Gil, it happened all the time when I was living in Huntsville, Alabama, home of Redstone Arsenal and NASA's Marshall Spaceflight Center in the 70's and 80's.

Many of my friends were, indeed, rocket scientists. They were also cavers (potholers) and lent their science to many different caving products and equipment. The rappelling rack was invented by Warner von Braun's personal mechanical engineer, John Cole, also a caver. Heck, it was JV Swearingen who introduced me to computers and databases back in the Commodore 64 days.

Certainly on the Cape, too. But, yep, many, many engineers at Marshall have been let go. Several friends of mine among them.

My brother's lawn man on Merritt Is. was a 6 figure NASA engineer... says his lawn service is the least expensive it's ever been in the last 30 years... plenty of competition...
