Team Ffenics is pleased to announce that the latest version of Ffenics is now released!

Key changes:

  • Improved Auto-Layout to speed document creation
  • Style Sheets made easier and more thorough
  • More logical double-click defaults
  • 'Document Changed' flag
  • Button and Field Accelerators to speed user data-entry
  • Multiline and labels now have centred and right justification
  • Set a default image behind all documents for consistent app-wide branding!
  • Plus many tidy-ups and 'consistency' changes, cosmetic surgery and even some bug fixes!

I should have stressed that you should first test your apps with 1.53. Software is too complicated for our own testing routines to pick up all issues, so please do satisfy yourself that you will not have problems before upgrading for live use.

(I say with 99.9% confidence that such caveats don't apply to new applications, of course...)
