Ffenics 1.63 Released!

I'm pleased to announce that Ffenics 1.63 is now available.

It contains a significant number of fixes and improvements. A full fixes and changes list is installed with the product. For existing users upgrading to this version is strongly recommended.

Upgrades are FREE and obtainable here:

http://www.ffenics.com/shop/

You only need one download of the upgrade to be able to upgrade all your Full and Runtime copies - the serial number and most settings are picked up from the previously installed copy. You do of course need to run the downloaded setup file on each machine that has Ffenics installed.

What do we use if we have to do a scratch install and already have a serial number?

Graham, what are you trying to do?

If you just want a separate install for testing, upgrade a beta copy. It'll still say beta, of course. You will be able to tell its the release build now by checking help->about. (Build 16312)

If its a previous version just install the old version then upgrade it.

A client will have a couple of new computers in the near future. They've got the serial numbers from their current computers but not a full install copy of Ff that's newer than 1.53. Of course, I can install 1.53 and then upgrade but would prefer to just install 1.63 from the start.

I've been asked the question, so I'll clarify.

The Ffenics setup file sizes for both Install and Upgrade are now 16mB, because they are no longer bundled with a Web Elements 'Free Sample'.

The Web Elements developer portion is still free, but it is a separate item in the shop. For actual live deployment of Web Elements you need to buy the server portion as well, which is chargeable.

And how can I get a copy of the Install file? Not the upgrade.
