I used dataease for many years to catalogue my railway photos. This might sound a bit lame but as I have 125,000 and am still taking pics at a rate of 5000 or so per annum, its a big job keeping tabs on what I've taken!

Some time ago I phoned the late Tina Tabord to ask how I could convert my database to windows and she very kindly and patiently moved all my data into ffenics and downloaded it all onto my computer.

I am now on the verge of buying a new PC as after 9 years this poor old beast I use is so slow and prone to locking up I need a new machine.

My questions are:-

1. How do I transfer ffenics when I have no installation disks as Tina did everything on line?

2. Will ffenics run with windows 7 or indeed 8 which I gather is on the way.

3. Any advice from the team at ffenics is much appreciated.

Hi. Michael,

What remote access software did you and Trina use? I can connect and find the install files so they may be transferred to a new pc. Do you have your serial#?

And, where are you located?
